...an article on the neglected skill of data modelling - why do it, how to do it and some useful advanced techniques. One of the most powerful, succinct and rigorous ways of analysing business requirements gets a JFDI treatment.
...and an article on non-functional requirements: is it me or is it rather ironic that BAs who are meant to analyse and define EVERYTHING have a subject area that is only defined by what it isn't...non-functional requirements are requirements that are not - er - functional. So I guess then that data requirements are non-functional requirements? Clearly rubbish, so this article attempts to scope, define and manage this nebulous area of analysis.
Both available at www.smart-BA.com
Hope they help!
